The Meaning of Love

The Meaning of Love
Love is a universal expression but we are not talking of the love people have for each other, the cloying possessive worried love or the ecstatic individual exclusive love. Rather love for all is what we would like to speak about today.
Love for all is impersonal. Love for all takes you out of this world and its problems, the negative feelings in your mind, and brings you into communion with God and with all that exists. This love is truly all that there is but it is not just a feeling. It is a state of being. It is a state of being in the moment and being with universal consciousness. It is a state of knowing and observing. It is a state of treating all as equals and seeing the God that is in them at all times.
This universal love takes you into your self and out of it at the same time. It taps into both the little you and the larger picture.
Love like this is endless and infinite.
It is the love of God. The love God has for you. And everyone else. This love is comforting. This love is wise. This love is the thought in the mind of God that made you and everything else. This love extends itself out infinitely and never ends, always expanding and moving, exponentially into infinity.
This is the love you seek to feel for everyone and everything if you want true peace and understanding.
This love has been misunderstood because it is impartial. This love is for the tsunami as well as the victims, it is for nuclear power and for those who perish because of it. This love is impersonal. This is the love that made the world and continues to create. This is where creation originates and nowhere else. This love is not only ethereal, it is practical. This love for all is the love that is within your heart. Open to it and see the difference it makes in the way you perceive what surrounds you.
